Will the Evo-Fort1 Work on a Ford escape 2011 or will i require the flash device to get remote start working?

I am looking into getting this for a Ford escape 2011 and was wondering if I will require the flash device to have the 3X start enabled?

The evo-fort1 will work on that car.

You will need the flash link updater2 to properly configure the module for 3x lock.
