2007 camry hybrid. program fine. got red light, wont do anything

followed install instructions. used with python D2D autostart. alarm does its thing red light comes on the EVO ALL but no dash response and no action from car. the module gave me 10 flashes to confirm programming

If using the D2D datalink protocol, did you reprogram (flash) the EVO to use the D2D protocol? By factory the EVO is set to Fortin protocol. By entering the 12-digit service number here, you can see wether the unit is set for D2D or FORTIN protocol.

 

Also, which installation guide did you use? with or without take-over?
