evo all + infiniti q40, ignition without crank

+1 vote
just installed and programmed fortin evo all (with NIST harness) on my 2015 infiniti q40 last night.

ignition came on but no crank. i made a short video showing the fortin and the dash.

i've double checked all the connections. what could it be?

side note, i've programmed the fortin with lock-unlock-lock as RS trigger.

any help is appreciated.

for the future people that stumbled here. the installation manual for infiniti q40 is wrong. you need to use RL2 instead of RL1.

this fixed my issue: https://fortin.ca/en/qa/94597/2016-infiniti-qx70-evo-nist1-stand-alone-add-on-remote-start-brake-problem

also note that the door switch sensor wire is not red, it's grey.

Hello Erick,

We spoke via email, thank you for the feedback.

Best Regards.
I am installing on 2015 Q40. Can someone please confirm the oin in BCM for door pin? Is it in fact red like in install manual, or is it grey wire? And if so, what pin is it? Instructions say pin 58, red.

Also, RL1 or RL2? Above says RL2, but linked solution says RL1 and so does install PDF.

Thanks,

Also, can someone please explain this part if the wiring manual? There are 5 wires referenced to splice? But two say cut? They are not joined, why do they say cut but other three do not?

Thank you,

Thank you
