2010 F-350 CM900-AS + EVO-ALL won’t remote start unless key is near ignition – PATS not bypassing?

Question

Using a Compustar CM900-AS and EVO-ALL (W2W, not D2D) on a 2010 Ford F-350. Module flashed using 1-key decryptor method (also tried 2-key method with same result). Programming completes successfully with confirmation. CAN wires connected per Fortin guide 89721.

 

Issue: Remote start only works if a key is physically taped near the ignition cylinder. Otherwise, relays click, cluster powers up, but no crank and the PATS light flashes. When it does remote start, unlocking the door shows “Start vehicle to disable alarm.”

 

Why isn’t the EVO-ALL properly bypassing the PATS system? What settings or wiring should be rechecked?
