Flashlink Mobile Bluetooth Pairing

0 votes
I have not yet been able to use my new Flashlink Mobile as it does not show up as an available Bluetooth device upon plugging it into an OBDII port.  The light flashes green but BT scanning from two different phones does not find it - the phones see eachother and other BT devices in range.  Is there something I am missing?  Thanks.

Mine is a Galaxy S7, I don't know what phone my friend has, but it was also Android.
I had another person try with their phone and they can actually see "FLMobile" as a bluetooth device, yet, I cannot with my Galaxy 7.  Please advise.  Thanks.
running latest os update? Got an old 5 myself and it sees it no problem
Yes, Samsung Galaxy S7 with Android 8

I'm confused why the Fortin FL Mobile doesn't show up on my phone, yet all my other BT devices, to include my car, my Dewalt speaker and my motorcycle BT communicator all work and pair just fine.

This product is not baked yet. I have it for a year almost, and  last week it died completely. I always had a problem with it. Calling the support doesn't help. They asking you "why did you press on the button?" becuase every normal Bluetooth need a button to press in order to bring it into a pairing mode?!?

Now every time I’m plugin it into the OBD, there is no light at all, and when I plug it in, holding the button, i'ts stuck on a red light. Now I have look and pray that the eBay seller I bought it from will replace it for me.
