2010 Tundra auto headlights stay on

0 votes
I have my headlights set to auto function. In this function the headlight won't turn off until the driver door is open. Everything is working perfectly. Last week I noticed a small issue with the remote start and my headlights. I started the vehicle and planning to go to the store. It was dark out so the headlight turn on. One thing let to another I didn't go and totally forgot that I started the truck. When i was ready to go about 30 mins later, the truck is already off because 15 mins run time but the headlights was still on.

I also noticed on guide #18211 for tundra with G-key, there are the D1 & D3 connection to (-) Autolight. Is that the connection I need?

Yes for correct function of the auto lights you need to make the connection D1 and D3 as well as the connection to the parking light wire using the pink wire from a12.

Be sure to test this connection before connecting!!
