Dash led - EVO ALL as a alarm system

0 votes
The EVO-ALL has many input and outputs (lights, sensors, switches)  but i was thinking in a way to power a dash LED to indicate the status of the built-in alarm.

You can connect a 12v blinking led to the starter kill output (white wire).

I am trying  to do the same but, the only white wire I see is used for door unlock can anyone clarify. thanks.
when the alarm option is enabled it takes over the outputs of the 20-pin. That white wire would not be an unlock output anymore; it would change to being a starter kill output.

If you currently need the white wire for unlock, you will lose this if you enable the evo-alarm feature.
I don't need the white wire for unlock so this works for me, thank you very much for the info.
So I turned the alarm option to ON, but I am not getting anything out from the white wire, I tried with alarm arm and disarm it's giving me nothing, any ideas, suggestions.
how are you testing the white wire @ Luis Velaszco? You will need to test for a negative signal out of the white wire, please test after 30 seconds after arming, and all doors need to be closed.

Thank you
yes, I tested for negative output all doors closed after arming the alarm waited almost five minutes but it doesn't come alive, maybe its a firmware issue I guess I am going to figure something else. thanks for the help.
