Delay in engine crank while in diesel mode

Question

I have the evo all installed on a 2014 ram 2500 with the Cummings and tip start. It is in diesel mode and there is a delay from the third click of the fob to engine crank. My concern is that nothing on the instrument cluster comes on during that time. It only comes on for second before engine crank. There is no delay even on cold mornings. Could it have been an installer error and he programmed it to have no delay. The module number is 001a06447504. I saw on YouTube it can be programmed from 20/10/0 seconds.
