Key fob doesn't work while car is remote started

When the car is under remote start, the key fob doesn't work. I cannot lock or unlock my doors during this period using the key fob. I assume this is because the car is running but that doesn't do me any good.

Have you done the install using the tharness ?

Just like factory, when the car is started, the oem remotes are not functional.
