2011 S5 with Smart Key

How does the Remote start work with a smart key and push to start?  I'm concerned that the functionality will not work with the keyless entry anymore and the factory security system will be defeated with the valet key hidden?

You will be removing the battery from the hidden remote, this disable anything keyless about that remote. Factory security stays intact.
