2006 Accord - HVAC settings lost after remote start

0 votes
I've installed an EVO-ONE in my 2006 Honda Accord. Almost everything works as it should (OEM fob, unlock/lock, start, trunk).

When using the remote start, the blower motor is always off and doesn't heat the interior.

When I start the car normally using the key, my HVAC settings are remembered from the last time I was in the car - the fan motor will blow at whatever speed it was set to before.

Is there some setting somewhere that I missed?

Couple of things too look into

1. When remote started, are you able to adjust the hvac settings?
2. When remote started, if you cycle the key to ACC does the HVAC come alive?
3. When remote started, if you cycle the key to IGN does the HVAC come alive?

Yes to all the above. I'm able to adjust the HVAC settings when remote started without ever putting the key in the ignition.
Good, vehicle may simply be recognizing the RS as a different user. While remote started, adjust settings like you want them (without the key in barrel), then shut down the remote starter. This should save user settings.
I tried exactly as you suggested, but after the next remote start, the fan, position and set temperature all reverted.
