2015 Mitsubishi Lancer dcryptor says invalid key

0 votes
When programming Evo One the blue light flashes rapidly but after removing the key from ignition the red and yellow light do not flash as manual says.  Dcryptor gives invalid key error, using OEM standard key and have performed master reset several times.

Hello,

This vehicle should not need dcryptor, Please master reset the evo and re attempt programming, if it still goes to yellow/red after key off, do another master reset then flash firmware 74.22 into the evo-one and re attempt programming.

Best regards.

Master reset and still no red/yellow after programming. Flashed 74.22 firmware and no change

thank you,
Please do the following:

- flash 86.17

- re program the module in the car

When you turn the key off, the blue led should go out and stay out. If it does then the unit is programmed.

Ensure options C1 and 38.2 are enabled for 3x lock.

Best regards
Flashed to 86.17 and verified C1 and 38.2 are enabled.  Should I see any lights on the module come on when pressing the lock 3x on the remote?

Thank you

Yes when pressing lock on the OEM remote the blue led should flash. If option C1 is not enabled then the blue led will not flash.
