Why Evo One connected to +Turn Signal Left/Right?

According to Evo One Guide # 98661 for  Mitsubishi Outlander, E1/E2 Connected to + Turn Signal Right/Left.

Photo 1A also shows the same thing.

What is turn signal got to do with a remote starter?

Hello,

In this vehicle we power the left and right signal bulbs to give a visual indication that the vehicle has or is remote started since powering the parking lights on this car is not as simple or possible. The connections are not mandatory, it is simply for a visual indication of the car being remote started.
