remote start not working 2010 murano

0 votes
2010 Nissan Murano using EVO-NIST1 kit.  Remote start will not initiate push to start function.  The red light comes on (brake light is on) but the EVO-ALL pin A19 will not send a ground to the PTS button to start the vehicle. I can manually push the button and it will start. I have tried numerous programming options to no avail. There is 12 volts at the pts and on pin A19 of the EVO-ALL.  The EVO red light flashes 3 time when fails.

What is the service number or S/N to the module?

Also how did you physically connect the white/black to the vehicle pts wire? What wire did you connect it to on the vehicles pts button?

S/N is 001A06 905454

I used a crimp connector to join the w/bk wire to the pts 12v wire on the back of the pts just like the picture showed in install guide 84411.  I verified it is the correct wire on the back of the pts switch.

Doors were all closed. Ignition key was about 25 feet behind car with second person assistant.
Remove the crimp and performed a proper spliced connection then re test.

Also turn on option A4 through A11. These should not be off.
electrical connection is good.

A1-A11 , C1,  D1 and D6 is on. still no start
Re program the module once you have D6 on.
I don't understand re program the module. D6 has been on after the last program.
Please re program the module in the vehicle.
I re programmed the module in the vehicle. It didn't start.
do the brake lights turn on?
If you sit in the car with the oem remote, does the car remote start?

If you press and hold the pts button after remote starting (once the RED LED) turns on, does the car start?
the brake lights turn on. It will not remote start with the oem remote in the car. It will start if I press the pts button after the remote start process begins with the oem remote 25 feet behind the car.
Either you have a connection issue with the white/black or the white/black output has been damaged.
I monitored the white/black pin on the module and it never changes. It always has the 12 vdc on it. How do I get a replacement module?
Contact your point of purhcase with regards to replacement or exchange.
