Can I remove the MAZT1 from a 2014 cx5 and install in a different 2014 cx5

Question

I programmed a MAZT1 in one of my 2014 Mazda CX5s. It did not work. I tried another MAZT1 in that vehicle and it worked fine. I would like to try the first MAZT1 unit in another 2014 CX5. Can it be reprogrammed with the Flashlink or is it locked to the first vehicle?

Have you done DCryptor with the first module ?

If you did the module might be locked to the first vehicle, if you didn't reach this step it should work fine in another vehicle.

Thanks Mathieu. I did pass the DCryptor stage with the first vehicle but tried it in the second vehicle anyway. I flashed it then reloaded my firmware updates/preferences, ran it through the installation process and am happy to report that is working fine in the second vehicle.
