Issues with Evo-Fortin on '11 F-250

0 votes
Installed a EVO-FOR.T1 on my '11 F-250 gas and not having any luck.

Data and transponder programming looks good.  When I try starting the truck with OEM lock button 3x, the red LED light flashes 5x.  The vendor I bought from said the 5x red LEDs is an issue with the hood.  I checked, there are no switches under the hood that tell the computer the hood is open.  No plugs anywhere near the hood latch.

Any ideas where I should start looking?

Are you using any RFKIT or only EVO-FORT1 in standalone ?

What's the service number on module ?

EVO-FORT1 in standalone, use OEM key lock button.

When I press lock, blue LED flashes once.  When I press unlock, it looks like blue LED flashes twice.

Is there anything connected to the dark blue wire ?

If you have installed a valet switch, switch it to OFF.
Dark blue wire has nothing connected to it.

I have no idea what a valet switch is, so don't think I have one.
Try connecting the evo to the flash link and turning off option A11 for hood status.
I kinda figured it's a programming issue.  Where do I buy a flash link?
Thanks. Ordered. Will play this weekend with it and update thread!
I disabled A11 and she fired up the first time!!  Thanks!

Last question... how hard is it to have the parking lights come on after a successful start?
