2015 TOYOTA TUNDRA STARTS, BUT WHEN KEY IS INSERTED STARTER ENGAGES FOR A SECOND CAUSING GRINDING NOISE?

​EVO-ONE INSTALLED ON 2015 TUNDRA SR5.

​VEHICLE STARTS WITH EVO-ONE INSTALLED AND WHEN I INSERT KEY THE STARTER ENGAGES.  I AM NOT TURNING KEY PAST THE RUN POSITION ON THE IGNITION.

Never had this issue on a Tundra, problem is probably coming from the ignition barrel.

You could setup a anti-start/anti-grind on the starter wire, and program the blue wire of your EVOONE to Anti-grind (option 32)

Do I have to add a separate relay or ground the dark blue wire?  Also,which Option 32 would you program, Mode 1, 2 , 3, 4, 5, or 6 ?

I retought about it and leave the option 32 default, just use a relay powered by the dakr blue wire to cut the starter wire. Make sure the start output from the EVOONE is connected to the starter side of the cut
