Hello Mr. Day,

What is the Make, Model and Year of the vehicle? Also, what is the firmware that was flashed to the EvoAll? Provide us with the Service Number found on the sticker that is on the Evoall.

Thank you....

2013 Ford Escape, Not sure on exact firmware it was the latest as of december. The service number is 001A06 560802
The Evo does not lose key programming unless there was an issue with the 12v or ground connections OR the vehicle's battery voltage went too low, or the vehicle was used to boost another vehicle resulting in a voltage spike.

If you have a Flashlink Updater-2, you can try flashing the latest firmware 71.34 and reprogramming in the vehicle.

Thank you
So if it only should lose programming due to inturuption in power, Since im using a plug and play harness (thar-for1) is it safe to assume that there is a open in the harness somewhere (broken wire)
I correct myself, my fingers typed faster than my brain,

What I meant to say is that, once programmed the evo-all cannot lose programming, unless there was an issue with either a voltage spike or something to that effect that wipes out the key programming.

Losing 12v will just give you and issue where the evo unit does not respond at all, and losing ground will cause a multitude of issues due to the unit trying to find ground elsewhere instead of the black ground wire in the datalink cable.

Since you are using a t-harness, power and ground is provided to you already minimizing the chances compared to doing it wire to wire where you would need to provide your own 12v and ground.

testing the 12v and ground with a digital voltmeter connected while remote starting will tell you if there is an issue with your power source.

But your issue could be as simple as an intermittent connection on the Lt. Blue and Lt.Blue/Black wires from the 20pin connector to the matching wires on the t-harness, and unplugging the unit and reprogramming might be giving you a false diagnostic that doing that is fixing the issue,

the 2 wires mentioned above do the immobilizer and an intermittent connection on either of those wire will cause a no-start situation with the vehicle looking for the oem key.
Okay took the whole thing apart today to check everything, Everything seemed good but upon reinstall I noticed the purple wire on the For1 harness when plugging into the igntion would pop out the back of the connector. I continued to try and mess with it to get it to go in but kept coming out of the connecton. So removed the switch and manually connected all the connections into the connector. It tooking programing and seems to be working Ill update if it loses programing again.
Tried the remote starter tonight and once again "no key found" on message display and alarm going off. All connections habe been checked twice now and reprogrammed twice. Not sure what to do. And car didnt move all day so wires couldnt have vibrated or anything.
Any chance you boosted someone or was boosted? Because if you say that all conenctions have been checked, and no intermittent connections were found, the next step would be to try a new t-harness with the old module. Test, if same result, then try a new module.

If you can contact tech support at 877-336-7797 and please have a digital multimeter or preferably a logic probe for easier testing of the RX and TX wires. only after troubleshooting with a tech agent can we deem the module defective and send you an email that all troubleshooting steps were done and then you can forward the email to your retailer for warranty.

Thank you,
Okay finally got a new Flash Link updater to check firmware. I was on 71.31 not that, that was causing the issue but I updated it to 71.34. Also I noticed before it was updated that it kept disconnecting from my computer it would go between connected and not connected on the status and the red like would come on and off on the EVO-ALL. connections all looked good so I looked inside the EVO All and found that the black connector was comming off the pins. I reseated it and put it all back together, updated the firmware and reinstalled into car and reprogrammed. Its working so far. I will update in a few days if its still working.
an hour later went out and tried the remote starter and once again back to the "no key found" issue. I'll be calling tech support as soon as I have free time to do so.

Based on comments below, I would certainly try a completely new unit. (EVO all)
