If standalone EVO-ALL module fails, and vehicle will not start.

Just a preventive maintenance question.  If the standalone EVO-ALL module fails with a t-harness or not.  Will the vehicle still start with a key normally?  Will the valet switch be able to bypass that?  Does the valet switch have to me momentary or on/off?

You will still be able to use your vehicle as normal if the module fails.

IMPORTANT NOTE: depending on the vehicle, sometimes you are required to completely interupt a circuit when doing a remote start install. If the EVO (or whatever other product) is completely disconnected, the circuit that was interupted will not be in contact anymore so the vehicle may not start anymore depending on what circuit was actually interupted. With or without a t-harness, as long as the RED connector on the EVO is connected, you will never have problems. even if a circuit is being interupted.

IMPORTANT NOTE #2: You will not have issues with your EVO if it is installed correctly :)

I never answered your  valet switch question....

The valet switch is to disable remote start when working on the engine or the car in general.  Turning it on would make sure the evo does not try to start the car.
