2013 dodge ram tip start

 

I'm using the "glacier start" remote starter kit from Grand West Enterprises.  It said I needed to connect the yellow ignition wire to the ignition source at the brake controller harness.  I tested it and it does get power on ignition.  I don't know what else to try.

In this programming procedure, there are a few steps to follow and a minimum required firmware.

 
What is the 12-digit service number written on the back of the EVO?

Are you using a T-Harness (THAR-CHR3 or THAR-CHR6)?

Really, the only reason it normally stays on Solid is because it does not see ignition On. If the Can-Bus was at fault, then the LED would shut off and stay off.

I'd recommend disconnecting the 20-Pin white connector from the EVO-ALL, and with a multi-meter, test the voltage on the Yellow wire.
