Evo-All Module don't work propertly in kia soul 2013 (part 3)

–1 vote

I use EVO-ALL only as bypass module. All wires from the car-alarm I connected directly to wires of my car.

I use wires only depicted on that scheme. Wires marked green colour I don't use at all.

What wires should I cut?

Should I cut relay wires (marked as red) and restore integrity of datalink bus of my car? Should I connect blue and blue/black to data bus or I need only

CAN bus for bypass module?

Thank you!

You do not need the Can-Hi and Can-Lo connections.

Only need what is connected to the Data wire.

Do I need to cut white/red and white/green wires (relay)? I am already tried to remove can bus (gray and gray/black wires), it doesn't work properly anyway!
Yes, you need to to do all connections for the Data wire, therefore, both white/red and white/green should also be connected.
Maybe I don't need to cut data wire of my car (marked with red circe in scheme upper)?

It doesnt't work as I write in the first message. What can I do anything else?

I started my car remotelly right now. At first time it starts normally. For the second time my car doesn't see the immobiliser bypass from EVO-ALL. And I don't know why.
There seems to be a ground-when-ruuning problem or the remote starter is not properly programmed for tach. Since the car actually started once, then the EVO is doing it's job.

I'd recommend visiting ifar.su for more info since the vehicle is also not from North America.

http://wirecolor.com/en/vehicles/kia_soul_%282012-2013%29/ The colours of my wires the same as described in your site. They will not help me (ifar.su) because I bought my Evo-All on EBAY.

And if I place my real immobiliser key to the ignition lock, my car starts all times.

For the first time the relay in EVO is click (white/red, white/green wires). But for the next time I don't hear the click.

And if I place my real immobiliser key to the ignition lock, my car starts all times.

Not supposed to work since the Data wire is supposed to be cut.

Correct, we will be implementing the same law very soon.

Here is the lot: http://www.ebay.com/itm/400299204177?ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1439.l2649 It is not fake. It's your product. I bought it on this store: http://stores.ebay.com/Lessco-Electronics?_trksid=p2047675.l2563

And I get a free activation key with it.

And I can write you module number!

Yes, the free activation comes with every EVO product when we ship them to our distributors.

Back to your problem....

First thing you should be doing before changing anything, redo the main ground connection. And also, make sure the blue and white wires from the datalink connector are not connected to anything.

If you can start your car with the EVO completely disconnected, then chances are either:

  • the wrong Data wire in the car is being used.
  • The data wire is not cut and connected properly

As you mentionned earlier about not cutting the data wire, this is a possibility. If you want to try this you will need to do the following.

  • Reconnect the data wire
  • connect ONLY the Light Blue / Black wire to the vehicles Data wire

Before doing this change though. Try simply reversing your light blue and light blue / black wires.

Thank you. I will try to reverse data wires tomorrow.
I tryed all your tips and unfortunately they didn't work :(. And remove the can bus.

As I mention before when relay inside Fortin clicks and brake the data wire the bypass works. When I place blue wire to the ground before I do command to start engine from my car-alarm and when I turn on Ignition by key (and blue wire placed to the ground) the relay clicks always and bypass works. But when I use wire, for bypass modules, from my car alarm it doesn't work (sometimes). Work diagram of my car alarm I sent before.

I think a delay between bypass and ignition isn't enough to start bypass in fortin.

I have car alarm starline A91.
The remote starter is giving you the problems as per your tests. You will need to contact them.
It is not a problem with car alarm system because have bypass module with key and it works!!!
It works when you ground the dark blue wire, but not when you use the remote starter. That, means the EVO works.
Yes bypass works but evo don't brake the data wire. Why?

As I mention before Delay between signals to bypass and ignition isn't enough for fortin but it's enough for other bypass modules.
I think you don/t want to help me.

I think you don/t want to help me.

We are not in the same time zones...

  • Fortin Electronics open hours
  • Monday-Friday 8:30am-6pm
  • Saturday 9am-5pm phone support only.

The EVO-ALL requires a 500 millisecond delay between (-)Ground when running and ignition. This is an industry standard and has been around since the creation of one of the first Data module. We cannot change anything about this.

What you can try though....

Join the remote starter Disarm wire with the Ground-when-running wire, make sure to isolate both with diodes. This is a common fix for a certain brand of remote starter sold here in North America, it permits the EVO to see a signal a little before ground-when-running.
