How do I connect parking lights to be on?

Can't seem to get the lights to come on when car has started. 2011 Ford Edge

What remote starter are you using ?

Use white wire from biggest power connector. Program option 31 to mode 4. Make sure the big red wire in the same connector is connected to constant 12v

the brown/white wire offers a negative output for parking lights. Look at the installation diagram, it will show you how to wire parking lights using a relay that will the polarity from negative to positive.

Do I have to purchase an additional relay to get the parking lights to work?

Yes you do need a 30/40 amp 12v relay to get them to work on your vehicle.
