EVO-ALL - External Remote-Start Trigger

+1 vote
Hi

I would like to know how to make use of the advertised "Control the remote starter and alarm system using any external device with a negative output." feature.

The EVO-ALL is connected via a THAR-GM1v2 harness, the installation diagram doesn't show the wire to be used for the external trigger though ...

Please advise.

First of all, we need to know if your vehicle is manual or automatic transmission.

External trigger through negative output  is only available when the Evo-All is in "STAND ALONE" mode. Which can ONLY be used on AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSON vehicles.

Depending on your remote starter or alarms datalink protocol, the Evo-All can be controlled through the datalink cable connection.

You will need a FLASHLINK-2 updater and FLASHLINK MANAGER  v3.52 to be able to change options in the Evo-All

The car in question is a 2012 Chevy Camaro with Automatic transmission.

The external trigger is a CarLinkSMS device from OMEGA: http://www.omegacarlink.com/v2/carlink-sms.php

Why would the external trigger NOT be available when the EVO-ALL is in Bypass mode? That is a very missleading advertisment on your product information page then!
