Im useing the RS232 plug on the autostart

goodday im pluged into the RS232 data plug on the autostart but i do have it programed to the fortin setting in mode 4 fuction 4 of the autostart. so do you want me to change that back to the default setting . I have the car coming back in to test the brake wire again but it shut the the car down when brake was pressed while under remote start.

with any Autostart product, set the EVO-ALL to D2D (option F3) and leave the remote starter in EXpressKit protocol. DEI does not allow 2-way datalink in Fortin or ADS protocol, it's 1-way datalink only.

ok I reset the Autostart back to its default mode for express d2d  and loaded the option in the EVO-ALL to D2D( F3) and its working fine now thanks for your help
