The Door pin connection is used to shut down the auto lights (RAP) after remote start and should not be connected to the remote starter door trigger input. This is an output from the EVO and has nothing to do with door status.

The door status output you are looking for on the EVO-ALL is the Green wire (not the pink/black). Connect that to the viper door status input.

Basically, follow the installation guide connections that are dotted line. Do not use Datalink if you cannot change the EVO-ALL datalink protocol to D2D so that it is compatible with the VIper system. (cut the blue and white wires in the datalink connector when doing the regular wiring)

So there is no door pin connection required for the evo to detect the door ? it does not sense the door via can bus
