2014 Rondo - Auto mirrors info (Not unfolding on unlock)

The 2014 Ronda has auto folding mirrors that fold on lock and unfold on unlock.

They do NOT unfold if the engine is running though. This is a known issue with no current fix that I am aware of.

 

The 2 current solutions are:

1 - Have customer shut off auto fold option. (This is my recommendation)

2 - the customer will have to use the folding mirror switch in the car to unfold the mirrors every time door is unlocked while in remote-start mode.

Hi Jeremy,

 

The mirrors will unfold when the vehicle sees unlock while the car is Off. So that means... to have them unfold, you can activate Option 12 in the EVO "Unlock before start, relock after start".

I'll put this info out there. Personally i had heard about these mirrors not unfolding before but had forgotten the actual solution for it, so i called up one of our on road techs to see what he did.
