2018 kia forte headlight stays on

Question

I have 2018 Kia forte LX standard key. When I remote start and after the vehicle shut off by itself after 15 minutes or I shut it off manually the headlight stays on. Even when I unlock and lock same thing.

Hello,

That is normal on this vehicle since r.a.p. is not covered.

You can if youd like set option 32.3 in the remote starter and run the drk.blue wire from the 20 pin connector to the driver door pin wire in the vehicle. This will simulate the door opening and closing atfer shut down thus turning off the lights.
