red light stays on

I have a 2010 toyota tundra. As i proceed thur the steps all is fine until I get to the,  turn the key to the on/run postion.

At which point the light blinks red.

It's not seeing key data. EIther you are using the grey valet key (which not allow programming, use the black key) or there's a problem with the IMMO DAta connections double check you IMMO Data connection.

 

You can try programming only the CAN-BUS if you like. This would confirm Can-Hi, Can-Low and igntion is properly detected. To program only the Can-Bus,

  1. Release on BLUE
  2. Plug in remain connectors
  3. Turn ignition On
  4. BLUE LED should flash here.
  5. Turn ignition off

I'm having the same problem. I have a 07 tundra. I will say I don't have the DATA 1 and DATA 2 wires connected because I can't find the Ignition connectorwith the 7 pin white ignitino connector. I did find two connectors togther, 4 on one and 3 on the other but the empty hole was at the end. I also don't have to the PARKING wire connected because I can't find the 20 pin light switch harness. I think mine is a 22 pin.
