This is driving me crazy... It works and then it does not... Need some help please.

Everything is connected per instructions (Guide # 24871), except; I had to disconnect the (A8 dk. blue) to Driver Door pin, as it left the Door ajar on constantly.

The Yellow loop has been cut on the fortin unit.

Fortin unit SN: 002B04 251304

Crank no start and 3 parking light flashes.

The blue will not flash on lock since support for 3xlock start is not listed (first thing listed under Installation Highlights).  https://fortin.ca/en/vehicles/mitsubishi/eclipse/2012-standard-key/compatibility/

For the just cranks and no start, please try firmware 74.22 instead of the latest. RESET the unit and then reprogram. Also note, DCRYPTOR will not bre required when using 74.22. Once the in car programming is done, you will not see red/yellow alternate at step 5. This is normal since you will not have to run through the dcryptor.

If it continues to be intermittent, please go over all connections. Ideally no t-taps or similar type of connectors should be being used.

Excellent, glad it worked out!

This module has been installe since July of 2022, is this intermittent start issue recent? If so, most intermittent start issues are caused by connections that maybe loose or have cold solder joints.

Hi,

It has been like this since I installed it, now in the wintertime, it starts to just annoy more, if you know what I mean.

I'll try what Robert is suggesting.

Thanks
