Why am I having trouble with GWR wire?

0 votes
I am running an Evo-All with T-harness for 2012 Ram 1500 connected to Easyguard EC002 and am having an issue with the GWR wire not able to consistently activate the Evo-All without disconnecting the GWR wire each time I want to start the vehicle. Why is the Evo-All not responding to the input without disconnecting and reconnecting?

GWR should only be at ground when attempting to remote start. If it is left at ground, it will remote start once but never again. This sounds the easyguard system is simpy output ground all the time vs ground when running.

The GWR wire is coming from a relay that has ignition power to activate the relay when the vehicle is being started, so it does not have ground at all times. Does the ground while running not affect the normal start procedure, not just the remote start?

Is the RED LED on the module lit up all the time?
No only when you disconnect and reconnect the GWR wire.
