2003 Mazda Tribute Evo One doesn't remote start without Key by the ignition

+1 vote
Hi,

I'm installing an AX-One unit in a 2003 Mazda Tribute with revo-1 remotes. I'm using guide #16941, because I can't find CAN HIGH and LO. I got a1, a2,a3, a10,a11,a20, e2,e3,e4,e5,e6 connected. Programming and dcryptor went smooth. Got the revo-1 remotes programmed also. If I hold the key by the ignition the car will start. Without the key by the ingition the car won't start.

I did noticed on Wirecolor.com a "Key sense" wire in the ignition harness. But I do not see where that connect to on the guide. Is that the wire I'm missing? Or is there something else?

Thanks,

Have you tried the 2 key programming?

As for the can bus that is not connected in your vehicle. Just Rx/Tx, brake, locks and the main ignition connections.

Key sense is not needed in your vehicle.

Also i was looking at your options and noticed you enabled 3x lock. This is not compatible with your vehicle as there is no can bus connections made so we cannot monitor the OEM remote.

I'm gonna guess you have cut the yellow loop on the module for automatic transmission vehicles?
