Evo-One install guide 2001 Toyota Tacoma

I am planning to do an install in a 2001 Toyota Tacoma.  The Evo-One with the Thar-One-Toy2 harness is what is recommended from your web site but I am unable to find a corresponding install guide.  What are your recommendations.

there will only be a vehicle specific install guide when a unit does more than just remote start on a vehicle; such as transponder bypass and/or can-bus integration. The 2001 Tacoma has no transponder bypass to do nor does it have any can-bus integration that we can do with it. The install guide that comes with the unit is all that is necessary.

keep in mind, the EVO-ONE has many features you will not be able to use with this vehicle since there is no Can-Bus; such as 3x lock start. If the vehicle in question is a manual transmission, the evo-one would also not be a wise choice since it just plainly wouldn't work because it would be missing Can-Bus integration.

This is an example of a guide found in the box of an evo-one (guides will differ depending on which distributor the evo-one originates from)..: https://fortin.ca/download/28431/evo-one_generic_quick_install_guide.rev-20150202.pdf

All I am looking for is lock, unlock, remote start. If I get alarm as well it is a plus. The vehicle has not alarm or key fob for remote lock/unlock with it. The owner would like to add these features to it.
How does the recommended harness integrate into the install. The guide for the harness does not even have the vehicle listed.

The harness plugs straight into the ignition harness of the vehicle and then into the evo-one. It'll cover the main harness connections. The main harness from the evo-one is customizable to give various variations of acc/ign and start via programming feature 2 and 31.

Since there is no can-bus, you'll be left with doing pyshical connections for brake status, lock and unlock. If you want to add alarm it's no issue. Just enable the alarm option and connect up the door status and horn/siren output (you can use the hood input as a door status).

Note: Make sure the evo-one you were to order has either the Fortin remotes included or you can purchase a compatible RF-KIT separatly. Distributors will be able to help with this part if you're not already set up. http://fortin.ca/en/distributors/
