2013 GTI PTS evo-all can't remote start

Question

recently i install a remote starter (brand compustar) with evo all

the car works fine for a week

and now sometimes when you press start and it won't turn on the engine but the remote tells me the car started

i have notice that when it's not working

the yellow steering wheel sign is light up

it seems like can't detect the key or program error

please let me know me the answer thanks

btw, the car will remote start fine sometimes too

Hi Willkai, when it fails to start, does ignition come on?

 

Many scenarios are possible :

 

1. Key Loop is not working properly
2. Brake activation is not done properly
3. The Push-To-Start is not activated correctly

ignition won't turn on when it's not working

only the yellow steering wheel symbol turns on when it's not working

Can you give us your Bypass Module's Service Number please.

 

It is a 16 digits Number at the back of your module.
