Mazda CX-3: Looking for clarification on the decryptor process

0 votes
Hi, the decryptor program simply states:

follow the steps described in the programming procedure of the installation manual to sample the information from the vehicle's immobilizer system.

The fortin guide I am following doesn't seem to have any details regarding this:

https://cdn.fortin.ca/download/68271/evo-one_ig_thr_bi_maz3-cx9-cx3-mx5_pts_2014-2017_1key_a_68271.pdf

I don't have any such details with  my mazda cx-3 manual, are these instructions supposed to be included with the evo-one?

i did update to the latest recommended firmware

update: it looks like this similar guide for the evo-all (not the evo-one that i have) shows the steps, and it's also different in that i am looking to do a "with take over" setup. is the key bypass programming procedure the same as in this guide: https://cdn.fortin.ca/download/62871/evo-all_ig_reg_bi_mazcx3_pts_2016_h_62871.pdf ?

update 2: it looks like this is also stopping my window from automatically rolling up and down all the way for the driver door, i have to hold the button. any ideas there?

If you have the THAR-ONE-MAZ3 harness, follow the guide you linked: https://cdn.fortin.ca/download/68271/evo-one_ig_thr_bi_maz3-cx9-cx3-mx5_pts_2014-2017_1key_a_68271.pdf

Page 7 and 8 has the programming procedure so we can sample the key. Once that is done, you must finalize the programming at the computer using the Dcryptor service within the flash-link program. It's a button that says, Send Data.

The EVO-ALL installation with MAZ1 harness is a completely different installation.  Do not follow this guide.

Your auto windows stopped working because the battery was disconnected. They simply need to be re-initiliased. The procedure to do so will actually be found in your vehicles owners manual.
