EVO-ALL with Omega Linkr-M1

0 votes
I have been using a Fortin GM4 kit, sucessfully installed and operational, for about a year. Stand alone alarm and remote start with OEM keyfob monitoring. I today installed an Omega Linkr-M1 Cellular interface. I know you have not tested this product with yours. The Omega device is said to be fully compatable with other branded devices through the idatalink protocall and a four pin connection. I connected the four pin connector from the Linkr to the EVO-ALL and nothing communicated. I then swapped the two "serial" wires between the units on the four pin connector and have sucessfully acquired communication. However only lock, and unlock work. The start function is not working. Here is the link to the manual for the Linkr-M1. And FYI the only reason I didn't use the Fortin cell device is I live in the States.

Any ideas or input on how to get the start function working?

Where did you connect the LINKr cable to on the EVO-ONE? Small Blue or Small Black?

I corrected the original post, I used the EVO-ALL not the EVO-ONE. It has a preconnected black 4 pin connector/white connector (same cable, different connector) which i connected to the Linkr's 4 pin black connector.
From the guide you provided, the default datalink protocol for the LINKr is idatalink, please enable the F2 option (AP/OFA) on the evo all. and redo the learning procedure.
