Can remote start cause gauge cluster fuse to blow?

0 votes
I installed an EVO-ONE in a 2006 Toyota Corolla 2 months ago.  Today the customer went to start their car, and the car started but the brake fuse, and the gauge cluster fuses blew.  Since the brake fuse blew, the car would noit shift out of park, so he had it towed to dealer.  The dealer told him that the remote start is causing the problem.  I have istalled 150 of these the past 6 months and have never ever heard of this.  It was installed according to the wiring diagram.  They said the fuse that is blowing is a 15A, but I thouight the one to the ignition switch was normally 25A-30A.  Is there any chance that the remote start is causing the problem?

The remote starter can not cause this except for installation related problem. Damaged wiring or that kind of stuff.... Dealer has to give more information why they think the remote starter caused it....

Recheck all your connections to isolate the possible cause.
